Obituary For Eddie Hayes

MR. EDDIE JAMES HAYES – Age 60, of LaFayette, Georgia passed away Saturday, October 4, 2014. He was born on September 24, 1954 in American, Georgia to the late Mary Louise Womble Hayes and Calvin McSears. He was a graduate of LaFayette High School and was preceded in death by his wife, Sara Ann Parker Hayes and sister, Ella Louise Scott. He is survived by his sisters, Myra Jean Harris, Barbara Jean McSears, and Gloria Moralis; grandmother, Julia Mae Womble Stalling; nephew, Craig Madden; nieces, Candice Robson, Loreal Moralis, Dawn Butler, and Shekera Pinnock; lifelong friends, Eddie O’Neal, Gary Ware, Vernon Shropshire, Colby Curry, and Keith Shropshire; a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Bishop V.T. Harden, Eulogist, Pastor Rheubin M. Taylor, and other ministers officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service. Interment, Chattanooga National Cemetery.
