Obituary For James Young

MR. JAMES PERRY “PETE” YOUNG – Age 86, Of Lafayette, Georgia and in the West Armuchee Community passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Oakview Nursing Home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Ruth McCleskey Young, parents, Roy and Naomi Young, and brother, J.C. Young. He is survived by his two daughters, Glenda Renee (Parris) Huskey of LaFayette, Georgia and Cynthia Lumpkin of Summerville, Georgia; five grandchildren, Jourdain, Makayla, Torri, Cary, and Brian; special niece, Patricia Jones of Summerville; a host of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Service for James “Pete” Young will be held Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at Prospect Baptist Church, 194 West Armuchee Road, with Pastor James Washington, Eulogist, Pastor J. Scott Copeland, and other ministers officiating. The family will receive friends at the church Monday Evening from 7:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Interment, Jackson Cemetery.
