MRS. ELLA MAE CURTIS MORRIS – Age 90, Of Calhoun, Georgia passed away Monday, October 20, 2014. She was born on September 4, 1924 and was preceded in death by husband, Arthur Morris, parents, Horace Curtis, Sr. and Lelia Jackson Curtis, daughter, Equilla Harris, grandson, Nakino Morris, two brothers, Horace Curtis, Jr. and Lionell Curtis, sister, Bertha Wyatt. She is survived by daughters, Mary Helen Coleman, Julia Morris of San Diego, California, and Arletha Phillips of Calhoun, Georgia; son, Nathaniel (Celethia) Morris of Dalton, Georgia; sister, Emma Lois Jones; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Homegoing Service will be held Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at Friendship Baptist Church with Bishop Claude Jones, Eulogist, Pastor James Washington, Jr., and other ministers officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service. Interment, Poplar Spring Cemetery.
