Obituary For James 'Peter Arnold' Washington

MR. JAMES HENRY “PETER ARNOLD” WASHINGTON, JR. – Age 71, Of Dalton, Georgia passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Hamilton Medical Center. He was a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church and was preceded in death by his parents, father, James Henry Washington, Sr., mother, Mattie Lee Arnold, stepfather, Thomas Arnold, Sr., brothers, Larry Coppage, Thomas Arnold, Jr., and Ronnie Arnold, and sister, Patricia Rhodes. He is survived by his wife, Norma Jean Washington; brother, David (Dianne) Arnold of Dalton; sisters-in-law, Annette Arnold of Suitland Maryland and Ann Coppage of Ruston, Louisiana; special cousins, Nancy Douglas and Edward Cousin; special niece, Minister Janetta Coppage; a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends. Homegoing Service will be Friday, November 7, 2014 at 1:00 P. M. in the Chapel with Rev. Erma Raymond officiating. His remains will lie in state at the funeral home Thursday after 11:00 A. M.
