Luttie Mae Palmer was born in Culpeper, Virginia. She was the cherished daughter of Fred and Daisy Mae Jackson and one of five siblings.
Luttie received her formal education in Washington, D.C. Her career at the Pentagon led her to meet John L. Palmer, the love of her life. They married on November 5, 1942, and together they created a loving family with two sons and one daughter.
Luttie dedicated her life to the Lord and joined Bread of Life Church under the inspiring leadership of Pastor Ronald Young. Her warm and loving spirit touched the hearts of everyone she met, making her a beloved member of the community. Known for her kindness, generosity, and thoughtfulness, Luttie was the fifth member to join Bread of Life, where she proudly became the church's first Deaconess. She continued to serve the Lord even after the church’s name changed to From the Heart Church Ministries of Harrisburg.
Luttie remained an active member of From the Heart Church Ministries of Harrisburg for many years. She faithfully attended services until her health began to decline. Her legacy of love and service continues to inspire all who knew her.

Palmer; parents, Fred and Daisy Mae Jackson; her brothers, James Jackson and George Jackson; her sisters, Virginia Jackson, Martin Pearlena Jackson Carter; sisters-in-law, Ruby Godfrey and Mary Jackson and her granddaughter, Lorrie Ann Palmer.
