Obituary For Janie Moore

MRS. JANIE SUE MACON MOORE – AGE 83, - Of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Monday, December 29, 2014 at Hamilton Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pharris Moore, Sr., daughter, Laura Love, parents, Ben Joe Macon, Sr. and Lillie Mae Macon, sisters, Cora Moore, Helen Wofford, Ben Joe Macon, Jr., and Sarah Ruth Garner. Survivors are her daughters, Virginia Young, Marlene (David) Webster, Susie (Louie) Pender, Jr.; sons, Frank Hart, Jr., and Pharris Moore, Jr.; son-in-law, Richard Love; brother, Tommy Lee (Betty) Macon, Sr.,of Dalton, Georgia; nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Carolyn Moore; brother-in-law, Albert Hill, Sr.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Funeral Service will be Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 1:00 p. m. in the Willis Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Stephen Thomas, Dr. Nicky P. Starling, and other ministers officiating. Her remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Friday after 11:00 a. m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p. m.
