Obituary For Gustavia Clemons

MRS. GUSTAVIA CAREATHERS CLEMONS – Age, 78 Of Chickamauga, Georgia passed away Monday, January 19, 2015 at her residence. She retired from LaFayette Health Care, was a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by her parents James Dennis Careathers and Clora Maebell Powell Careathers, husband, George L. Clemons, Jr., brothers, Philip J. Jones, Burel, James (JD), Dewey Lee and Herbert Careathers, sisters, Maudell Clark and Jewel Brewster and great grandson, Andre` T. Davis. She is survived by her daughter, Willie Bell Davis of Chickamauga, Georgia; four grandchildren, Tyrone (Tonya) Davis, Felix W. Davis of Chickamauga, Georgia, Alicia Davis Fields of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Natalie S. Davis of Chickamauga, Georgia; four great grandchildren, Sydney Davis, Nathaniel Davis, Antonio Fields, and Malia Jones; one sister, Bessie B. Morris of Chattanooga, Tennessee; a host of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. A special thanks to the Hospice of Chattanooga Staff. Homegoing Service for Mrs. Gustavia Clemons will be held Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 1:00 P. M. at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor William Tramble, Rev. Timothy Careathers and other Ministers officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday Evening from 6:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M. Interment, Garmany Cemetery.
