Obituary For Susie Blackwell

MOTHER SUSIE MAE PULLUM BLACKWELL- Age 92, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Gordon Health Care. She was born on January 18, 1923 in Gordon County to the late Mr. Valentine Pullum and Mrs. Beaulah Hogan Pullum and was a member of Liberty Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Mr. John D. Reynolds, second husband, Mr. Robert L. Blackwell, granddaughter, Michelle Davis, sisters, Mamie Jo Steele, Marine Reynolds, and Georganna Denmon; brothers, Lewis Pullum, Hogan Pullum and V. T. Pullum. Survivors are her loving daughter, Mary S. (Eugene) Cooper of Calhoun, Georgia; step daughters, Nellie Hope of Cincinnati, Ohio and Delores (Bob) Jones; god daughter, Joanne Smith of Dalton, Georgia; grandson, David Alex Davis; great grandchildren, Nicholas Davis of Starksville, Mississippi, Orlando Montford of Atlanta, Georgia, and Marysa (Will) Tarlton of Marietta, Georgia; sisters-in-laws, brothers-in-law; a devoted niece, Betty Rowe; devoted nephew, Donald Reynolds; a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. Homegoing Service will be held Monday, January 26, 2015 at 11:00 A. M. in the Chapel of Willis Funeral Home with Rev. William Q. Watkins officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 6:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M. Interment, West Hill Cemetery.
