Obituary For Willie Mitchell, Jr.

MR. WILLIE NELSON MITCHELL, JR. – Age 54, Of Lawrenceville, Georgia, formerly of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2015. He was a member of Methodist Faith, was employed with Wendy’s Restaurants, and was preceded in death by his loving mother, Julia Mitchell. He is survived by his wife, Sherri Mathis Mitchell; daughter, Kayla Marie Mitchell; father, Willie Nelson Mitchell, Sr.; sister, Thesseleaner (Maxwell) Roberts, Edna Mitchell, and Julia Taylor of Chattanooga; aunt, Odell Green; mother-in-law, Eulla McLin of Chickamauga; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Rosalind Mathis of Chattanooga, Gwen Gilbert of Athens, Alabama, Marilyn Pitt, Johnny (Cheryl) Mathis of Kensington, Walter (Teresa) McLin of Chickamauga, Debbie (Michael) Johnson of Rossville, Jimmy (Shannon) McLin, Sharon (Calvin) Figgures of Chickamauga, Donna McLin, Anthony (Stephanie) McLin of Rossville, and Kathy Lankford ; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Homegoing Service will be held Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Pastor William Tramble, Rev. Archie Jackson, Eulogist, and other ministers officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday Evening from 7:00 until 8:00 P.M. Interment, Garmany Cemetery.
