Lafayette Leon Williams, affectionately known as Cookie Monster Man, was born on November 7, 1952, in Savannah, Georgia to Marion Lewis Williams and Catherine B. Williams.

Lafayette’s education learning included Landmark Learning Center in Miami, Florida, Suncoast Clearwater UPAC Center, Clearwater, Florida and Lifestyle, where he earned his wages and was recognized by head artist to pursue a career. He enjoyed music, dancing, and catching ball with his family.

He was dedicated to serving church daily and loved to sing. Lafayette was a member of Christ Church of Universal Love.

Lafayette Leon Williams transitioned from this earthly life to his eternal home on January 4, 2025, Clearwater, Florida.

He is preceded in death by his father, Marion Lewis Williams and brother, Clarence Leonard Williams, grandparents, Isaac and Arilla Brown and Albert and Etheline Williams.
