Obituary For Edmund Hampton

MR. EDMUND KENADO HAMPTON – Age 30, Of Calhoun, Georgia passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Gordon Hospital. He was a member of Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church, was employed at Gordon Hospital, graduated from Calhoun High School in 2004, and was preceded in death by his adopted mother, Iva Lee Rose Higginbotham, and mother, Roberta Hampton. He is survived by his adopted father, Jearl Higginbotham; dear friend, Neshanta Printup of Calhoun, Georgia; foster brothers, Kaibron Kemp, Kashun Kemp, Laniyah William Kemp; brothers, Pedro Hampton and Ricardo Hampton; sister, Christinniea Head; aunt, Betty J. Hampton, Patricia Aker, and Avinell Howell; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church with Minister Wayne Curtis and other ministers officiating. His remains will lie in state at the church from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour on Thursday. Interment at Chandler Cemetery.
