Monica Yvette Bryant, daughter of John E. Baylor, Sr. and Sheila A. (Warren) Baylor, was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

She was a 1988 graduate of Harrisburg High School and retired from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA). She later went to work for Boyo Transportation dropping off and picking up children from school, a job she loved to do.

Monica played basketball in her earlier years and loved watching her favorite basketball team, the 76rs. In addition to basketball, Monica was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys. She enjoyed watching General Hospital and other soap operas and game shows. In her leisure time she would challenge her grandson, Kendrick to a game of scrabble. She loved to drive and spend time with her loving husband, family and friends. Especially her BFFs - Donya, Barb, Angie and Maria.

Monica Yvette Bryant transitioned from this earthly life into eternal life on Monday, January 6, 2025 in the peace and love of her home in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

She is survived by her loving, devoted and caring husband, Vincent Bryant; her three sons, Kejon M. Baylor, Koby M. Bryant and Kevin M. Bryant; her seven grandchildren, Kendrick Markaden Baylor, Kei-Milayh Mei-ling Bryant, Bella Marie Baylor, Koby Mykel Bryant, Jr., Kevin Marcel Bryant Jr., Kehlani Monet Bryant and Skylar Taylor Bay Evans; her father, John E. Baylor, Sr.; her mother, Sheila A. Baylor; her siblings, John E. Baylor, Jr. (Mona) and LaTasha N. Baylor, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Monica's life will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 in the Sanctuary of Goodwin Memorial Baptist Church, 2447 Green Street, Harrisburg with viewing and visitation from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. and burial in William Howard Day Cemetery.
