Obituary For Julia Wofford

MINISTER JULIA SOPHIA DANIELS WOFFORD, – Age 67, - Of Dalton, Georgia passed away Monday, June 15, 2015 at her residence. She was a member of Community Fellowship Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, James Wofford, John Dennard; father, Esco Anderson, Sr.; sister, Elizabeth Anderson; brothers, Oscar Eugene Anderson, Esco Anderson, Jr.; and stepson, Morris Dennard. Survivors are her son, Chaplain Tracey L. ( Rev. Georgia) Anderson of Grand Praire, Texas; daughter, Teresa Newkirk of Marietta, Georgia; stepchildren, John Dennard, Keysia (Randy) Robbs, of Dalton, GA.,Glorius (Robert) Doss, Shelia Dennard, of Pelham, GA., James M. Dennard of Morgan, GA., and Rodney (Georgianna ) Gay of Cummings, GA; mother, Minister Julia Dukes Anderson of Albany, GA.; two granddaughters, Tomara Mitchell of Marietta, and Kimberly (Fred) Johnson of Dalton; sisters, Rev. Ethel (Lewis) Williams of Valdosta, GA., Olivia A. Williams of Albany, GA., Philbert A. Leonard of New Jersey, and Deborah Anderson of Albany, GA.; six great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; dear friends, Pauline (James Ronald) Washington, Julie Dyer, Rose Johnson, Dana Thomas, Minnie Marsh, Marie Thomas, Annie Mae Hill and Family, Jennie Mitchell, Martha Joyce Shoemaker, the Austin Family, Mary Alice Tinson, and other friends. Funeral Service will be Friday, June 19, 2015 at 12:00 noon at Community Fellowship Church, 409 N. Fredrick St., Dalton, with Dr. Stephen Thomas and other ministers officiating. Her remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Thursday after 11:00 a. m. and the family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 – 7:00 p. m. Interment, West Hill Cemetery.
