Bert Thomas Walker, 90, a native of Carteret County and former resident of the Pembroke Community of New Bern passed Friday, January 10, 2025.

His service is 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 19, 2025 at Moore’s Chapel MB 1208 Hargett St., Newport.

He is survived by his son, Tarlton Walker, Chicago, IL., daughter, Renee Hester (Ernest), Newport, N.C; sisters, Ruth Kyle (Steve), Lillian Henrietta Ruffin and Avon Walker all of Newport, NC; brother, Joseph Walker (Judy), Trenton, NC; one grandchild and three great grandchildren.
