MRS. MARY H. WATKINS- Age 88, Of Cartersville, Georgia passed away Friday, June 26, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Deacon Artell Watkins, Sr. Survivors are her children, Artell (Naomi) Watkins, Jr., Alpha (Amos) Montgomery of Rome, Georgia, Mary Darlene (Oscar) Linley of Emerson, Georgia, and Rev. William Q. Watkins of Cartersville, Georgia; two sisters, Ruby Durham, Eunice Fowler of Cartersville; ten grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, nine great great grandchildren; three special nieces, Ernestine Tanner of Canton, GA., Donna Linley of Kennesaw, GA., Mary McDaniel; two special nephews, Lindsey McDaniel, Sr., Charlie Brown, Sr., of Cartersville; special friends, Vangel Dodson, Calvin and Sharon Sublett, the Willis Family; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Homegoing Celebration will be Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 2:00 p. m. at Damacus Baptist Church, 174 Gaston Westbrook Avenue, Emerson, GA. with Rev. William Q. Watkins as Eulogist, Rev. Roy E. Fowler, Presiding, and other ministers. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 7:00 p. m.
