Obituary For Robert Lee Hawkins

MR. ROBERT LEE HAWKINS – Of Adairsville, Georgia and formerly of Atlanta, Georgia passed away Sunday, July 5, 2015. He was a graduate of Washington High School Class of 1947 and retired from Lockheed Martin for over Thirty years of service. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Albert Hawkins. Survivors are his loving wife, Wanda H. Hawkins, of Adairsville, Georgia; daughter, Michelle D. (Robert) Byrd III of Edison, New Jersey: son, Michael D. (Chrystal) Hawkins of Acworth, Georgia; stepsons, Samuel D. (Susan) Hill of Calhoun, Georgia and Johnny M. (Malinda) Hill of DuPont, Washington; grandsons, granddaughters, Mother, Lena C. Jones of Atlanta, Georgia; sister, Constance Callaway of College Park, Georgia; Nephews, Anthony Callaway and Allen Callaway, longtime friends, Jim Eaton of Cleveland, Ohio and Grady Ware of Atlanta, Georgia, a host of cousins , other relatives and friends. Graveside Services will be held Friday, July 17, 2015 at 12:00 Noon at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia with Military Honors. A Memorial Service for Mr. Robert Lee Hawkins will be Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at Grays Chapel A.M.E. Church in Adairsville, Georgia.
