Obituary For Walter 'Bud' Hill, Jr.

MR. WALTER “BUD” HILL, JR. – Age 65, Of Dalton, Georgia passed away July 6, 2015 at his residence. He was a United States Army Veteran and was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Mary Emma Hill, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Marsha Ann Macon Hill; daughter, Michelle Lynette Hill of Dalton; sisters, Susie (Corrie) Byrd of Suwanee, Georgia, Mary Hill (David) Ruffus, and Evelyn Jean (John) Ruffus of Powder Springs, Georgia; brother, Marvin Hill of Ball Ground, Georgia; aunt, Katie Weaver Garlington of Atlanta, Georgia; mother-in-law, Lucy Hill Macon of Dalton; sisters-in-law, Stephanie (Ricky) Ramsey and Bernadette Chattam; brothers-in-law, Iva Lee Macon and David Tuffy Macon; dear friend, Marian Lynette Stokes and family; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 12:00 Noon at New Hope Baptist Church, Roan Street, with Rev. Rodney Weaver, eulogist, Pastor Kenneth Scaife, and other ministers officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 until 7:00 P.M. Interment, West Hill Cemetery.
