Obituary For Luvenia M. Cothran

MRS. LUVENIA M. COTHRAN – Age 96, Of Cohutta, Georgia passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Kelley and Jessie McCamey Kelley, husband, William Henry Cothran, one brother and sisters. She was a member of Hawkinsville Missionary Baptist Church in Chattanooga. Survivors are her son, Harold (Carolyn) Cothran of Chattanooga, Tennessee; one granddaughter, Karen (Rick) Thompson; one grandson, Del (Brenda) Cothran; six great grandchildren, Miranda Yates, Joshua Cothran, Lydia Cothran, Jared Cothran, Kenny Burke, and Brandon Thompson; dear niece, Janice McIntyre; special friends, Florence Wade, Sarah Brooker, Betty (Henry) Baker, Pat Weller, Betty Macon, and Billie Prater; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Funeral Service will be Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 12:00 Noon from the Hawkinsville Missionary Baptist Church, 7463 Pinewood Drive, Chattanooga with Pastor Bobby L. Hampton and other ministers officiating. Her remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Wednesday after 12:00 noon. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 7:00 until 8:00 P.M. Interment, Mount Olive Cemetery in Cohutta, Georgia.
