Funeral service for Annie Watts, 71, of Jacksonville, FL, formerly of Loachapoka, AL, will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 2 Day Lily Street, Loachapoka, AL, 36865 with interment in Pine Level Cemetery, 4650 Arrow Head Road, Loachapoka, AL, 36865, Reverend Anthony Shealey will officiate.
Mrs. Watts, who passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025 in HCA Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida, was born December 18, 1953, in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Monday, January 13, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Mrs. Watts will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory: daughter, Lakenna Watts of Jacksonville, FL; stepson, Michael (Nicole) Holloway of Huntsville, AL; mother, Katie Bass of Loachapoka, AL, five sisters, Ella Pitts, Anteneria Pearson both of Loachapoka, AL, Deborah (Archie) Harris of Gainesville, FL, Ambrosia Cooke of Syracuse, NY and Mary Ann Davis of Decatur, GA; three brothers, Jeffery (Georgia) Bass, Willis (Cynthia) Bass both of Auburn, AL and Pastor Kelvin Matthews of Columbus, GA; five grandchildren, Shawndria Calloway, Leshawn Calloway, Derrion Calloway all of Loachapoka, AL, Katelyn Calloway and Shawn Calloway, Jr., both of Opelika, AL; one uncle, L.E. Pitts of Birmingham, AL; one brother-in-law, Joe (Mary Lois) Watts of Waverly, AL; two sisters-in-law, Rosie Johnson of Loachapoka, AL and Lizzy Pearl (Joe) Love of Waverly, AL; two special friends, Christine Willis of Loachapoka, AL and Joe Lewis Smith of Jacksonville, FL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
