Obituary For Anita Gail Cooper Turman

MRS. ANITA GAIL COOPER TURMAN – AGE 63, - Of Chattanooga, Tennessee and formerly of Dalton passed away on Monday, August 17, 2015. She was a member of Mountain Ridge Missionary Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by her two sons, Julian Maurice Cooper and Ernest Oliver, Jr., parents, Julian and Ollie Mae Cooper. Survivors are her husband, LaBron Turman of Chattanooga, Tennessee; sister, Cathy (Phillip) McPherson; brothers, Bernard (Cheryl) Betton, Lanny (Eunice) Cooper, Derrick (Talitha) Cooper, Terrance Cooper of Dalton, Georgia, and Renard (Cynthia) Cooper of Conley, Georgia; aunt, Catherine Blackwell of Dalton; sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Funeral Services will be Monday, August 24, 2015 at 1:00 p. m. at Mountain Ridge Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Jerry D. Jones officiating. Her remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Sunday after 11:00 a. m. Interment, West Hill Cemetery.
