Obituary For Shirley Moten

MS. SHIRLEY MARIE MOTEN – AGE 58, - Of Chickamauga, Georgia passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at a local hospital. She was a member of Shady Gove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Cleveland, sister, Wanda Porter, brother, Dexter Cleveland, grandparents, Charlie Sam, Ada Porter, George, and Grace Cleveland. Survivors are her sons, Reginald (Kandi) Moten of Calhoun, Tennessee, and Julius Moten of Chickamauga, GA.; daughters, Keliscia Glenn, and Shaunna Jordan of Chickamauga; three grandchildren; mother, Shirley Watkins of Chattanooga, Tennessee; brothers, Johnny (Kathy) Clark of Chattanooga, James Porter of Chickamauga, Charlie (Clara) Porter, Robert (Wanda) Porter, both of Chattanooga, and Eugene Bartley of Chickamauga; sisters, Charlene (Clarence) Smith of Chickamauga, Joan Cotton of Chattanooga, Terrie (Jennaco) Turnipseed, Tracey Cleveland, both of Atlanta, Georgia, and Alberta Porter of Chickamauga; one great aunt, Fannie Mae Porter Fields; five aunts, and many uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, special people in her life, Gregory (Lana) Moten, Vernon Moten, Darryl Moten, Sarah Ann Porter, Susie Schultz, and Debbie Johnson; and other friends. Funeral Service will be held Sunday, September 6, 2015 at Shady Grove Baptist Church, 879 North Highway 341,Wallaceville Road, Chickamauga, Georgia at 2:00 p. m. with Pastor William Paul officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:30 – 8:00 p. m. at the church. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
