Obituary For Ida Mae Dixon

MRS. IDA MAE YOUNG DIXON- Age 79, Of Calhoun, Georgia passed away Saturday, September 19, 2015. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church in the Red Bud Community. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Dixon, parents, Viola Jackson Young and Will Young, one sister, and three brothers. She is survived by her children, Glendalene (Pearce) Starr, Roger Dixon, Barry (Mary) Dixon, Vanessa Kelley, Ronnie Dixon, Nancy Dixon (Michael Wilson); sisters, Carrie Wilkey, all of Calhoun, Georgia, Lillie Printup of Atlanta, Georgia; sisters-in-law, Wynell Kennedy, Wilsonia Montgomery, Eddie Jo Simpson, Shirley Heard; brother-in-law, Mack Montgomery; twenty-four grandchildren; devoted friend, Dedra Smith; a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Homegoing Service will be held Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Friendship Baptist Church, 452 West Line Street, with Minister Corey Dixon, Eulogist, Pastor Guy Gainor, and other ministers officiating.
