Obituary For Elizabeth Moore Barrett

MRS. ELIZABETH MOORE BARRETT – Age 94, Of Carterville, Georgia passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Townsend Park Health Care. She was preceded her in death by her husband, George Barrett and son, George (Ricky) Barrett, Jr. Mrs. Barrett was a homemaker and a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She is survived by her six daughters, Vanessa (Ronald) Weems, Annolia Moore, Ida Marie McAfee, Priscilla (Dexter) Nettles, Rose Bud Owens, all of Cartersville, Georgia, and Georgia (Rev. Larry) Pettigrew of Marietta, Georgia; one son, Billy Barrett of Cartersville; twelve grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren; two sisters, Christine Arnold, and Hannah Pye of Cartersville; family friend, Floyd House; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Funeral Service will be held Friday, October 16, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. m. at New Hope Baptist Church, 235 Henry Mack Hill Road, Rydal, Georgia, 30171 with Pastor Rev. Earnest Bush officiating. The family will receive friends at the church Thursday evening from 7:00 until 8:00 P.M. Interment, Oak Hill Cemetery.
