Obituary For Moses William Lumpkin

MR. MOSES WILLIAM LUMPKIN – Age 69, - Of Ringgold, Georgia passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at his residence. He was born on September 30, 1946, was a member of Mt. Peria Baptist Church, and retired from Dupont Chattanooga Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Jasper and Mrs. Lottie Pearl Thornton Lumpkin and three brothers, Fred, Willie, and Nathaniel Lumpkin. He is survived by his daughter, Tara Sharise Wright of Chattanooga, Tennessee; son, Bishop Thaddeaus “Thad” Cunningham of Ringgold, Georgia; grandchildren, Erinn (Cody) Campbell and Kaylan Wright; great grandchildren, Corrine and Issac Campbell of Chattanooga; sister-in-law, Mary Jo Lumpkin of Ringgold; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Mt. Peria Baptist Church, 341 Sparks Street, Ringgold, Georgia, with Rev. Jimmy Ingram, Rev. Dr. Floyd Croft, and other ministers officiating. His remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Friday after 11:00 A.M. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service. Interment, Ringgold Community Cemetery.
