OPELOUSAS – Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Opelousas Family Worship Center in Opelousas, LA for Mr. Larry M. Ned, Sr., 74, who entered eternal rest on Monday, January 6, 2025 at his residence in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be in Holy Family Catholic Church Cemetery in Lawtell, LA.

Bishop Albert Richard, Pastor of Opelousas Family Worship Center, will be officiating the funeral service.

Mr. Ned’s memories are being cherished by: his wife, Brenda J. Ned of Opelousas, LA; two sons, Larry M. (Monica) Ned, Jr. of Prairieville, LA and Paul (Vicki) Ned of Opelousas, LA; one daughter, Melissa Laws (Ricky) of Eunice, LA; seventeen grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by: his parents, Wilson Ned and Linda Frank Ned; five brothers, Felix Ned, Willis Ned, Joseph Ned, Roland Ned and Donald Ned; and four sisters, Shirley Richard, Dorothy Lewis, Brenda Carmouche and Ruth Ned.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Opelousas Family Worship Center.
