Obituary For Willie Bell McDaniel

MRS. WILLIE BELL McDANIEL – Age 85, Of Calhoun, Georgia passed away Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Floyd Medical Center. She was born on April 27, 1930 to both the late Emma Joe O’Neal and Lyne McDaniel. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and retired from Richardson Dry Cleaners. She is survived by her children, Stanley Phillips, Kathleen (Herron) Clark, and Melvin (Wilene) McDaniel; sisters, Iona (Walter) Campbell, Martha Ann Langston; two half-sisters, Minister Claudell McDaniel and Verdell Mims; two half-brothers, Ezekiel McDaniel and L. J. McDaniel; son-in-law, Ozie B. Winters; five grandchildren, Melanie (William) Phelps, Maria Smith, Cecilia Washington, Janett (David) Reams, Tamisha Daniel; seven great grandchildren, DeVonta (Skuntavia) McClain, DeVonna McClain, Kameisha Smith, JaCarrie Washington, Johnny Washington, III, and Lauren Daniel; three great great grandchildren, Cortazhia McClain, Tra’Ziaya Williams, and Trenton Williams; two very special nieces, Linda Mims, and Shirley Mosley; a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends. Funeral Service will be Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Friendship Baptist Church, 452 West Line Street, Calhoun, Georgia with Rev. Michael Sherman as Eulogist and Pastor James Washington, Jr., presiding. Her remains will lie in state at the church on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the funeral hour.
