Obituary For Rev. William Stamper

REV. WILLIAM HOWARD STAMPER – Age 86, Of Ringgold, Georgia passed away on Monday, November 23, 2015. He was the Pastor of New Home Baptist Church in Noble, Georgia and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, John T. Stamper, mother, Lela Clark Stamper, brothers, John Stamper, Ross Stamper, John T. Stamper, George Stamper, sisters, Thelma Pickens, Lottie Battle, Etoilar Woods, Ruby Brisbane, and Mary Bell Black. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of fifty-six years, Dorothy Gatewood Stamper; daughter, Joyce (Andre) Stamper Johnson; son, Jimmy Lee Stamper; sister, Ada Hinton; brother, Robert Lewis Stamper; and grandson, Christopher Johnson; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. The Family will Celebrate the Life of Rev. William Howard Stamper on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 11:00 A. M. at New Home Baptist Church in Noble, Georgia with Pastor Rheubin M. Taylor, Eulogist, and other ministers officiating. He will lie in state at the church on Tuesday Morning from 10:00 A.M. until the funeral hour and other hours friends may view his remains at the Funeral Home on Monday after 12:00 Noon.
