Obituary For Earnestyne Davis Toney

Earnestyne Davis Toney, 82, of Memphis, TN passed away on Monday January 13, 2025 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis.

Earnestyne Toney was born November 16, 1942 to the late Robert Sr. and Queenie Davis, Lake Cormorant, MS. She was proceeded in death by her husband of 36 years, David Toney, Jr., brother Robert Davis, Jr. and sister Carolyn Madison.

Earnestyne leaves a legacy of love with her son David Michael Toney, III (Auta) and daughter, Kimbra Toney-Bernard (Marsean). Three sisters Lena Davis, Ethel R. Harris, and Laura Jean Burt. Three brothers, James Davis (Bertha), Johnnie Davis (Barbara), and Lonnie Davis (Patricia). Three Grandchildren, Alan Toney, Jaxon Toney, and Zoie Bernard. One Granddog, Champ. Along with a host of loving relatives and friends.

The family has scheduled a Service of Celebration at Centenary United Methodist Church, 584 East McLemore, Memphis, TN 38016 on Saturday, January 25th at 11am with the viewing preceding the service from 9am-11am. Interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119.
