Obituary For Cornelius Moss

MR. CORNELIUS (“ROCKY”) MOSS – AGE 76, Of Cartersville, Georgia and formerly of Atlanta, Georgia passed away Sunday, November 29, 2015 at Cartersville Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, father, James Gordy, mother, Elizabeth C. Moss, brothers, James Cornelius Moss, Melvin Gordy, sisters, Lillie Mae Davis, Georgia Ann Gordy, Juanita Gordy, and Myllessia Black. He is survived by his two sons, Cornelius R. Moss, and Miquel R. Moss of Atlanta, Georgia; two daughters, Marla Y. (Pastor Willie James Edward) Coombs of Cartersville, Georgia, and Tammy Avery of College Park, Georgia; six grandchildren, four great grandchildren; two sisters, Alma Jean Poole of Decatur, Georgia, Christine Kelly of Stockbridge, Georgia; one brother, Lorenzo Moss of Atlanta; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Celebration of the life of Mr. Cornelius (“Rocky”) Moss will be Friday, December 4, 2015 at 2:00 p. m. at Greater New Fellowship Baptist Church, 69 Cassville Road, Cartersville, Georgia with Pastor Willie James Edward Coombs officiating.
