Funeral service for Pamela Johnson, 63, of Salem, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Bethel #2 Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 1785 Lee Road 29, Opelika, AL, 36804, Bishop Tony Peoples will officiate.
Ms. Johnson, who passed away Friday, January 10, 2025 in Auburn, Alabama, was born November 20, 1961, in Macon County, Alabama.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory: “husband”, Gary Hughley; two daughters, Kishina Johnson of Auburn, AL and Candice Baker of Huntsville, AL; seven grandchildren, Rashawn Johnson, Chasity Baker, Roy Henderson III, Alexxis Milner, Malik Baker, Amberly Johnson and Jacob Nelms; eight greatgrandchildren, Nyhah Baker, Ivy Baker, Syria Henderson, Rose Milner, Prince Milner, Laiklee Baker, Kyren Baker and Jaxton Jones; three sisters, Dorothy Johnson of Akron, OH, Denise (Sentha) Fitzpatrick of Tuskegee, AL and Brenda Johnson of Opelika, AL; three brothers, Dennis Johnson of Akron, OH, Deverette Johnson of Columbus, OH and Alexis Philpot of Auburn, AL; one aunt, Alice Torbert of Columbus, GA; three uncles, William Johnson, Robert Johnson both of Columbus, and Larry (Theresa) Tolbert of Hephzibah, GA; five sisters-in-law.
