MR. KENNETH AVERY (“KINKY”) O’NEAL – AGE 56, - Of Cohutta, Georgia passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at the Augusta State Medical Hospital in Grovetown, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry Duke O’Neal, and Bertie Lee Whitener, grandparents, Thelma Chaney, step grandfather, Frank Chaney, great grandparents, N. J. and Gertrude Barrett, brother, Henry Baker, Jr., uncles, Johnny Barrett, James “Spergin” Barrett, aunt, Vinella Hooks, and a special cousin, Rita Nell Austin. Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Saraya (Brent Stephens) O’Neal; granddaughter, McKasmyne Bonds; grandson, McKylond Avery O’neal; sisters, Vanessa O’Neal, Dorothy Beck, Lisa Baker Wimms; brother, Jerry (Amanda Cantrell) O’Neal; aunt, Teresa (Ralph) Cochran; uncles, Thomas Barrett, Jeffery Chaney; aunt, Sarah Hardson, uncles, Perry Baker, Johnny Baker and Willis Baker; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. The celebration of the life of Mr. Kenneth Avery (“Kinky”) O’Neal will be on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 1:00 p. m. at the Willis Funeral Home Chapel with Teresa Cochran as Eulogist, and Rev. John Hall, presiding. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 - 7:00 p. m. Interment at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Cohutta, Georgia.
