Obituary For Emma Tinson

MRS. EMMA LIZZIE BRYANT TINSON – Age 93, of Rocky Face, Georgia passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at her residence. She was a member of Mt. Salem Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Tinson, father and mother, Johnnie and Effie Bryant, three sisters, Lucille Claudia Datcher, Florene Lulene Green, Mary Cleo Simmons, three brothers, Oscar Luke Bryant, Henry Louie Bryant, and Walter Bryant, and son-in-law, Elonza Langston. She is survived by her sons, Jerold T. (Mary) Tinson, and Gerald L. Tinson, of Rocky Face, Georgia; daughters, Shirley (Edward) Little of Ringgold, Georgia, Mary Anetia (Hugh) Shropshire of Rocky Face, Bettye Langston of Ringgold, Marcella (Fred) McDade of Rocky Face, and Effie (Eurskine) Lyons of Stockbridge, Georgia; twenty-four grandchildren, forty-three great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren; sister, Hattie Mae Mullins of Cleveland, Ohio; sister-in-law, Clara Mae Bryant of Chattanooga, Tennessee; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. The Service to Celebrate the Life of Mrs. Emma Lizzie Bryant Tinson will be Monday, January 11, 2016 at 1:00 P. M. in the Chapel with Rev. Craig Moore, Rev. Dennis Moore, and other ministers officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 4:00 until 7:00 P. M. Interment at Stoney Point Cemetery in Rocky Face, Georgia.
