Obituary For Raymond Lamar 'Huckabuck' Boston, Jr.

MR. RAYMOND LAMAR “HUCKABUCK” BOSTON, JR. – Age 58, of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Hamilton Medical Center. He retired as a truck driver and was a member of Mt. Ridge Baptist Church. Mr. Boston was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Lamar Boston, Sr. and mother, Eugenia Bonds Partlow Sneed. Survivors are his wife, Cathy L. Saunders Boston; two daughters, Kimberly Michelle Boston and Morgan Whitney Boston, of Dalton, Georgia; four stepchildren, Antonio Shawn Saunders, Michael David Hopkins, Dion Saunders, and Kimberly Renee Truitt; one sister, Debbie (Wilbert, Jr.) Martin of Stone Mountain, Georgia; three grandchildren; thirteen step- grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; stepbrothers, Eddie James Moore, Jr. and Veron Boston; aunt, Margaret McMeans; mother-in-law, Catherine Saunders; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at 1:00 P. M. at Mountain Ridge Baptist Church with Dr. Jerry D. Jones, Sr. and other ministers officiating. His remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Monday after 11:00 A. M. and the family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00 – 7:00 P. M. Interment, West Hill Cemetery.
