Obituary For Carrie Lue Wilkey

MRS. CARRIE LUE YOUNG WILKEY – Age 77, of Calhoun, Georgia passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Redmond Regional Medical Center. She was a member of East Calhoun Church of God, was retired from Crown Crafts Mill, and was preceded in death by her son, Tyrone Wilkey, parents, Will and Viola Young, three brothers, James Young, Ralph Young, and William Young, and two sisters, Rebecca Young and Ida Mae Dixon. She is survived by her husband, Kay Wilkey, Jr.; daughters, Rhonda (Robert) Wade of Cartersville, Georgia and Threda Pullum; sons, Kay (Robin) Wilkey, III, Eric Wilkey, Greg Wilkey, Keith (Katie) Wilkey, Kevin Wilkey, LaShawn Wilkey of Calhoun, Georgia; twenty-two grandchildren; thirty-five great grandchildren; sister, Lily Printup of Atlanta, Georgia; a special son, James Hodges; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 12:00 Noon at East Calhoun Church of God, 401 Peters Street, Calhoun, Georgia, with Bishop Claud Jones, Eulogist, Pastor Keith Reid, and other ministers officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 7:30 P.M. and one hour before the service. Interment, Haven of Rest Memorial Park.
