Obituary For David 'Eric' Painter

MR. DAVID “ERIC” PAINTER– Age 61, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Monday, January 25, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family after a long battle with cancer. Eric was employed at Mohawk Industries for thirty-five years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady and Georgia Painter , sister, Jackie Painter, and brothers, Walter Painter and Lamar Painter. Eric is survived by his wife of thirty-two years, Elaine Newberry Painter; two daughters, Shaunna Anderson of Scottsdale, Arizona, Stephanie and Stephen Reed of Sierra Vista, Arizona; granddaughters, Andrea Reed and Trinity Reed of Sierra Vista; sisters, Clara and Ronald Lowery, Diane and Rob Dempsey, Marion Michalak and Vivian Freeman; a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at West Hill Cemetery with Bishop Reuben Graham officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 until 1:30 P.M. and one hour before the service.
