Obituary For Kenneth Aker

MR. KENNETH ELDRIDGE AKER, SR. – Age 80, of Calhoun, (Curryville Community) Georgia passed away Friday, February 5, 2016 at his residence. He was retired from Wal-Mart. His parents, Roscoe Joseph Aker and Bertha Lee Mann Aker, brothers, Waymond Aker, Raymond Aker and two sisters, Joyce Harris and Juanita Haynes predeceased him in death. Survivors are his wife of sixty years, Ceola Sue Steele Aker, children, Peggy E. Aker (James) Harris, Betty Gail Aker (Lou) Rogers, Kenneth E. Aker, Jr., Joe Nathan Aker, Vince Andre (Ramona) Aker and William Eric Aker all of Calhoun, Georgia; twenty four grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; four sisters, Thelma Owens, Elaine Fraizer, Linda Aker, and Wanda Pritchett; one brother, Rev. Phinis Leon (Alice) Aker; aunt, Margaret Aker; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and a host of other relatives and friends. Memory service for Mr. Kenneth Eldridge Aker, Sr. will be held Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 12:00 noon at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Curryville with Rev. Phinis Leon Aker, Eulogist, Rev. H. D. Caldwell and other Ministers officiating. Funeral arrangements are by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
