Obituary For Dorothy Jean Harris

MRS. DOROTHY JEAN LEWIS HARRIS – AGE 70, - Of Carterville, Georgia passed away on Monday, February 15, 2016. She was the widow of the late Billy Welton Harris, Sr. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Will Lewis and Bessie Goodwin Lewis, brothers, Howard Richards, Willie Richards, Robert Lee Richards, J. W. Richards; sisters, Rosetta Wofford, Annie Bell James, and Saddie Louise Hawkins; two daughters, Annie Louise Harris Curtis, and Teresa McMichael. Survivors are her sons, Billy W. (Wanda) Harris, Jr. of Calhoun, Georgia, Tommy (Rita) Harris of Cartersville, Georgia, Michael Harris; one daughter, Dorothy Jean (Terry) Denmon of Calhoun; ten grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; two sisters, Carrie Mae Bowden, and Daisy Lewis; one brother, Eugene Richards; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Funeral Service will be on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 1:00 P. M. at First Corinth Christian Church, 728 Court Street, Calhoun, Georgia with Rev. Jesse Harris, Pastor Scott McClure as Eulogist, and Minister Marvin Richards. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service. Interment, Colbert Cemetery.
