Obituary For Sharon Kay 'Baby Sis' Shropshire

MS. SHARON KAY “BABY SIS” SHROPSHIRE – Age 65, of LaFayette, Georgia passed away Monday, April 4, 2016. She was a graduate of Lafayette High School with the class of 1968, was a member of the Baptist faith, and was preceded in death by her parents, George G. Shropshire, Sr. and Katherine Stalling Shropshire, and brother, Murl Dean Shropshire, Sr. She is survived by her sisters, Gwendolyn Shropshire and Sandra “Pookie” Montgomery of LaFayette, Georgia; brothers, George S. (Shirley) Shropshire of Smyrna, Tennessee and Claude Vernon Shropshire of LaFayette; sister-in-law, Jackie Shropshire of Atlanta, Georgia; special niece, Kathyrn Denise Williams; special friend, Ross Harris; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Homegoing Service will be held Sunday, April 10, 2016 at 5:00 P. M. at Mount Zion Baptist Church, Dunwoody Road, LaFayette, Georgia, with Rev. William Tramble, Pastor Rheubin H. Taylor, and other ministers officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. The family will be at the residence at 11 Shropshire Lane, LaFayette, Georgia.
