Glendy Joyce Bryant

Funeral service for Glendy Joyce Bryant 77, will be Sunday, December 29, 2024 at 2 pm at the Anniston Funeral Service Russell H. Williams Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in Eden Hills Cemetery. Mrs. Bryant passed away on December 19, 2024. Mrs. Bryant was baptized at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She graduated from Cobb Avenue High School in 1965 and from Jacksonville State University in 2003 & 2006. She is a founding member of Ayers State Technical College Alumni Association and a lifetime member of Jacksonville State University National Alumni Association. She retired from Fort McClellan Child Development Center, where she taught & developed children for over 20 years.

Survivors include her son: Orundá A.(Sonio) Bryant; her grandchildren; Maurqerius Bryant, Omari Bryant, Jack Bryant, Sion Bryant, Maurice (Drake) Bryant, Olin Bryant, Saniya L. Bryant; her brother; Steven Ronald; her aunt; Mary Graham Brooks; sisters: Faye M. Gregory, Carrie Mae Brown; in-laws; Mary Bryant, Grace Bryant, Elizabeth Branch, Akhemma Bryant, Mark (Rosie) Bryant, Alfred Bryant, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Graham English; her husband, Douglas McArthur Bryant, her son, Maurice Sebastian Bryant, sister. Diane Butler Davis.
