MR. JOHN WILLIAM SMITH, JR. - Age 77, of Chattanooga, Tennessee passed away on Friday, June 3, 2016. He was born on September 5, 1938 and was preceded in death by his parents, John William Smith, Sr. and Eula Brown. He is survived by his companion of thirty-three years, Cassandra Hampton; daughters, Latoya (Stanley) Smith Dillard and Yvette Smith; step daughter, Rhonda (Sircarr) Hampton Davis, all of Chattanooga, Tennessee; grandchildren, Ja’Niya Young, Ja’Leiyah Dillard, Ciera Johnson, and Omarion Kilgore; two great grandchildren; mother-in-law, Earline Gurley; a host of step grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Visitation and Funeral Service will be held Monday, June 13, 2016 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Hardwick and Sons Funeral Home Chapel, 913 East Martin L. King Blvd., Chattanooga, Tennessee.
