Obituary For Herbert Shoulder

MR. HERBERT SHOULDERS, JR. – Age 72, of Chattanooga, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 17, 2016 at a local hospital. He was a former member of St. Ruth P. B. Church and was born in Athens, Alabama to the late Herbert and Catherine Shoulders. He was predeceased in death by his parents, siblings, Lucille Collier, Mildred Washington, Robert Shoulders, Catherine Williams, Selestine Green, Larry Shoulders, William Shoulders, and James Shoulders. Herbert leaves behind wife, Wanda Dixon Shoulders of Chattanooga, Tennessee; daughter, Jacqueline Shoulders of Birmingham, Alabama; two sons, Hubert Shoulders, III of Lawrenceville, Georgia and Richard Shoulders of Chattanooga; four sisters, Louise Sanderfer, Eliza Murrah, Rebecca Washington, and Christine (Tom) Williams; dear friend, Bernice Gardenhire of Chattanooga; a host of brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Homegoing Service will held Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 12:00 Noon at the Chapel of Hardwick and Sons Funeral Home with Dr. Michael Bennett, Sr. and other ministers officiating. The family will receive friends in Chapel on Friday from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Interment, Forest Hills Cemetery.
