Obituary For Henry Baker

MR. HENRY BAKER – Age 89, of Cohutta, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at his residence. He was born on August 4, 1926 in Tunnel Hill, Georgia to the late James and Thenia Jones Baker, Sr. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald Baker, Lorenzo Baker, James Baker, Jr., Harding Baker, and sisters, Christine Bryant, and Lucy Terrance. He is survived by his loving wife for over sixty years, Betty McIntire Baker; two brothers, George Washington Baker and Raymond Baker; sisters, Mollie Burch, Wilma Parks, Sallie Walton, and Helen Manning; two special nephews, Jackie Robinson and Michael Robinson; godson, Chandler Jackson; sister-in-law, Sarah Taylor; a host of other loving nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends. Funeral Service will be held Sunday, August 7, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 799 Inman Street, Cleveland, Tennessee, with Pastor Dr. Edward Robinson, Sr. and other ministers officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. His remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Saturday after 12:00 Noon.
