February 10, 1992 – January 11, 2025
Ashley Alese Wright “Vester”, fondly known as “Baby Girl” among Her closest Friends, Drifted to heaven on January 11, 2025 after nearly 33 years of loving her family and loved ones “ to the moon and back” as she would affectionately say.
Born and raised in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Ashley was the blessing her mother always wanted. A beautiful baby at the age of 2, Ashley was crowned ‘Little Miss Rock Hill’. Over the years Ashley played tennis, participated as a cheerleader, cherished her pets, wrestled her cousins and brother. She also loved visiting carowinds growing up. Her travels carried her from Myrtle Beach to the shores of Oahu in Hawaii as well as the coast of California where she saw the Golden Gate Bridge.
After graduation from Northwestern High School, Ashley followed in her mothers footsteps, yearning for the greatest title of all – mom. Her dream came true with the birth of Scotty which her mother called “Monkey Doodles.” Followed by Elijah and Zachary nicknamed ‘Little Zach”. There was no moon far enough away to express how much she loved her boys and being a mother.
In her final act of love, surrounded by friends and loved ones, Ashley completed the “walk of Life”- a final goodbye before she gave the gift of life to multiple people with the selfless act of being a organ donor.
Ashley being able to rest in peace for eternity offers some comfort to those who knew her best. Ashley joins her mother, Alese, in heaven where she will be embraced in her loving arms as well as her grandmothers, Tina (Grandmama), And Ella Sue(Dot) who both loved her dearly. Those that will endure without Ashley and will strive to have just as big as a heart as she did includes her three sons and boyfriend Tyler, and his grandparents, her father Mike Wright and wife Lisa, siblings Dylan Webster, Chris Wright, Haley Wright, Travis Wright, Michael “Brian” Litton and wife Holly and Alexis Roberts and husband Lance. Along with numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews, and thousands of friends that Ashley genuinely loved “to the moon and back” In honor of Ashley, this is the level of love everyone should aspire.
