Robert Allan Earickson was born to Lawrence Earickson and Opal Mattocks, in Santa Fe, New Mexico on August 5, 1952. Known to his family and friends as Bob, an honored Veteran, beloved Son, Brother, Father, and Grandfather. Bob moved to Sierra County in 2012, prior to which he lived and worked around New Mexico and Colorado for much of his life. Bob passed away peacefully at his home in the early morning hours of January 16, 2025. Bob is survived by his siblings: Ginette, Laurie, Arthur, Nancy, and Steve; his three daughters: Shawna Earickson, Michelle Earickson, and Kristina Fitzgerald; his stepson, Eric Davis; his grandchildren: Madison, Justin, Kaitlynn, Darby, and John; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Alice; and his brother, John.
