Obituary For Nathaniel Christopher Upshaw, Sr.

MR. NATHANIEL CHRISTOPHER UPSHAW, SR. – Age 41, - Of Chattanooga, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2016. He was a member of Marble Top Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Nathaniel Upshaw, son, Nathaniel C. Upshaw, Jr., sister, Emma Upshaw. He is survived by his wife of four years, Ronda Upshaw; mother, Jennifer Lawrence; five stepchildren, Henry Bennett, Delvon White, Charlie Fletcher, Jasmine Davis, Kia Williamson of Chattanooga, Tennessee; four sisters, Virginia (Victor) Brown, Nancy Upshaw of Detroit, Michigan, Audrey Moten, Ellen Shackleford, Mamie (Stacy) Jones, Beatrice Kennebrew, adopted sister, Jennifer Moten, all of Chattanooga, four step grandchildren; sister-in-law, Edna (Sherman) Moore; mother-in-law, Katherine Davis, of Detroit; brother-in-law, Lonnie (Melissa) Davis, II, of Dunwoody, Georgia, Sonny (Wanda) Davis of Michigan, Lonnie C. (Theresa) Davis, Jr. of Kensington, Georgia; beloved 'brothers', Roy Gene Upshaw, and DeWayne Owens; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Funeral Service will be on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 1:00 P. M. at Marble Top Baptist Church, 7131 Marble Top Road, Chickamauga, Georgia with Pastor Clint Waller as Eulogist. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service. Interment, Garmany Cemetery.
