TYLER-- Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Davis, 80, are scheduled for 1 pm, Saturday, January 25, 2025 at College Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Rodney Curry, eulogist, under direction of John R. Harmon Undertaking Company.

Mrs. Davis was born on December 25, 1944 in Smith County to the late Harrison Miller and late Perline Jenkins and she transitioned on January 18, 2025.

She was a graduate of Emmett J Scott High School Class of 1963 and received her Masters degree in Education from UT Tyler.

Mrs. Davis retired from Jackson Elementary/Chapel Hill ISD after over 30 years of service. She was a member of College Hill Missionary Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir and member of the mission. Mrs. Davis was a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

She was preceded in death by her siblings. Left to cherish her memories are spouse: Mack Davis, Sr.; sons: Mack Davis, Jr (Veronica), Patrick L. Davis, Kevin Keith Davis all of Tyler; six grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.

Public viewing will be Friday from 2 pm to 8 pm at the funeral home.
