Obituary For Amber Charlesse Montgomery Townsend

MRS. AMBER CHARLESSE MONTGOMERY TOWNSEND – Age 32, of LaFayette, Georgia passed away Thursday, October 6, 2016 at a local hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Amber was a 2003 graduate of LaFayette High School and a member of Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, William “Bill” Jackson and Julius Montgomery, and grandmother, Barbara Ann Ware. She is survived by her loving family, husband, David Townsend; parents, Anthony Jackson and Loretta M. Jackson; sister, Latoria Montgomery; brother, Indio Hinkle; two nieces, LaNyia and Lanee Montgomery; special cousins, Timothy Jackson, Kabrecia Montgomery, Celena Baker, and Travarous Ware; aunts and uncles, Charlene (Larry) Elrod, Thomas Ware, Terry Shropshire, Bessie Montgomery, and Robin Jackson; grandmother, Nylia Swint; a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held Sunday, October 16, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Prospect Baptist Church, 194 Prospect Church Rd., LaFayette, Georgia, with Rev. Lopez Ludy, eulogist, Dr. Willie Womble, presiding, and other ministers officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday evening at the church from 6:30 until 7:30 P.M.
