OPELOUSAS – Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Community Chapel Church of God In Christ, 1606 W. College Ave., Opelousas, LA for Mrs. Ezola Clark Washington, 70, who entered eternal rest on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at her residence in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be in St. Mark Baptist Church Cemetery in Plaisance, LA.

Rev. Frank L. Ford, Pastor of Community Chapel Church of God In Christ, will be officiating the funeral service.

Mrs. Washington’s memories are being cherished by: her husband, Warren Washington, Sr. of Opelousas, LA; three sons, Warren Clark (Kerriontae Pitre), Marcus Clark and Victor Washington, all of Opelousas, LA; one daughter, Nesha Clark (Cory Andrus) of Opelousas, LA; six grandchildren, Kaiden Clark, DeKwone Wilson, Cameron Wilson, Jacoreyion Wilson and Jace Lemons; two bonus grandchildren, Kyrie Alfred and Kameron Alfred; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by: her parents, Dalves and Josephine Clark Leday; one brother, Jeffery Leday; and two sisters, Mary Ann Clark and Gloria Clark.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at Community Chapel Church of God In Christ.
