Nettie “Pearl” Credle Melvin, a native of Mesic, NC, transitioned peacefully at Hackensack Meridan Health Center, Brick Town, NJ, Monday, January 20, 2025 with her family by her side.

Her funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Friday, January 31, 2025, at Pilgrim Baptist Church, Red Bank, NJ.

She is survived by her daughters, Leona Melvin and Suzanne Melvin (Paul); son Christopher Melvin (Kysha); brother, Glenwood Credle, Sr.; sisters, Neva Ruth Branch, Joyce Marie O'Neal, and Laula Elizabeth Allen; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
