Obituary For Roy Dean Shropshire

MR. ROY DEAN SHROPSHIRE – Age 63, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Monday, January 2, 2017. He was employed at Kroger’s for over 40 years and was a former employee of Southern Management. He was a member of True Gospel Pentecostal Church and was preceded in death by his wife, Beth Kilgore Shropshire, and parents, R. C. and Mary McCary Shropshire, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law. He is survived by his loving children, daughter, Starla Shropshire; three sons, Terry (Mandy) Shropshire, Trey Shropshire of Dalton, Georgia, and Mustafa Shropshire of Albertville, Alabama; brother, Larry (Nellie) Shropshire; grandchildren, Jazmine Shropshire, Jada Shropshire, Devin Harris, Myah Steele, Zahria Neal of Dalton; one great grandchild, Jayla Shropshire; sister-in-law; brother-in-law; special friends, Karen Harper and the Kroger Family; a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends. Funeral Service will be held Monday, January 9, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. In the Chapel with Bishop Reuben Graham and other ministers officiating. The family will receive friends on at the funeral home Friday Evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Interment, West Hill Cemetery.
